How to remove the Gemini sparkle watermark

Use AI Remove to remove the Gemini sparkle watermark from supported images, review the filled area, and understand what remains in the file.

Start with the visible mark

The Google Gemini sparkle is a visible image mark. AI Remove’s Image Watermark Remover checks for registered visible marks, including that sparkle, and offers a manual selection when automatic detection does not identify an area. The tool also checks supported AI provenance metadata. These are separate parts of the cleanup, so review both the picture and the reported metadata result.

Keep an original copy before uploading. Choose a static PNG, JPEG, or WebP file up to 20 MB and 32 megapixels. The tool is free to use; no account required. Animated images are not supported.

Upload, select, and review

  1. Open the image tool and upload your image. Inspect the preview to find the visible mark you want to remove.
  2. Run automatic cleanup for a registered mark. If a visible mark remains, select its area manually and process that selection.
  3. Inspect the finished area at a useful zoom. Check edges, gradients, textures, and nearby lettering before downloading.
  4. Save your downloaded copy. Changed outputs stored by AI Remove expire after 24 hours.

Inpainting fills the selected area using nearby pixels. A plain background can be easier to fill than a detailed face, repeated pattern, or line of text. The result can contain visible changes, and JPEG or WebP output may be recompressed. Compare against your original rather than assuming that a successful request means an identical image.

Visible cleanup and invisible watermarks

Removing a visible sparkle does not remove or verify SynthID. Google describes SynthID as an imperceptible watermark embedded in generated content. AI Remove does not verify that layer. Clearing supported provenance metadata also does not establish the image’s origin.

If no registered mark or supported metadata is found, automatic cleanup may leave the image unchanged. Use manual selection for another visible mark. Preserve your original and its provenance details when you need to document how an image was created.

What happens to the uploaded file

Your original goes to AI Remove’s server for processing and is deleted afterward. Changed outputs can be saved for 24 hours, with unlisted URLs accessible to anyone who has the URL until expiry. Read the Privacy Policy before choosing what to upload.
