Can it remove Google Gemini and OpenAI image marks?
Automatic detection covers registered visible marks, including the Google Gemini sparkle. OpenAI visible marks have no registered detector, so select one manually if present. Processing uses remove-ai-watermarks. It checks and removes supported AI provenance metadata. Invisible pixel marks, including SynthID, are not removed or verified by this CPU tool.
Will the erased area look identical?
Inpainting replaces pixels inside a detected or selected area using nearby pixels. Results vary with the background. JPEG and WebP output may also be recompressed, so inspect the full image before using it.
Which image files can I upload?
Static PNG, JPEG, and WebP files are supported, up to 20 MB and 32 megapixels. Animated images are not supported. If no registered visible mark or AI metadata is found, the image may remain unchanged; select an area manually if you can see a mark.
Can this image tool clean text watermarks?
No. This tool processes PNG, JPEG, and WebP images. For invisible Unicode characters or unusual spacing in text, use the Text Cleaner. It preserves your wording and does not remove statistical text watermarks.
Does a cleaned image prove it was not AI-generated?
No. AI metadata can be absent from the original or remain after cleanup, and this tool does not verify invisible pixel marks. A cleaned file does not establish its origin. Keep the original if provenance matters to you.
Does my original image leave my device?
Yes. The original is uploaded to this site’s server for CPU processing, then deleted after the request. The finished image is stored for 24 hours when changed. No external AI provider receives it. Read the privacy policy for more detail.
How long is the cleaned image saved?
Saved outputs expire after 24 hours and are removed automatically. Their unlisted URLs are accessible to anyone who has the URL until expiry. Download your copy before leaving the page. If saving fails, you can still download the cleaned image directly.
